Estimated Unexplained Loss

Estimated Unexplained Loss (EUL) is a metric used by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) to verify the accuracy of counting technologies and reported salmon escapes. EUL will be calculated at the end of each production cycle following certification and reported for each of Tassal’s farming zones.
